Chile tem a melhor qualidade de vida da américa latina, tem mais segurança, tem mais educação.. Em questão de qualidade de vida, Chile é muito melhor do que Brasil, Argentina e México, até de Porto Rico... Em economia o Brasil é maior. Un estudio internacional auspiciado por la revista The Economist concluyó que Chile es el país más seguro y pacífico de la región, mientras que el menos seguro es Colombia. Otro país que alcanzó un buen puntaje en el estudio fue Uruguay. Entre los menos seguros se encuentran también Venezuela, Haití y Ecuador.Bolivia, por su parte, ocupa el puesto número 78 en la clasificación, seguido por Perú (80), República Dominicana (82), El Salvador (89), Brasil (90) y México (93).
