His old stuff is truly great. But he later claimed to hate people and publicity and all he did was do interviews, screenplays and hobnob with celebrities.Still love him though. Visited his grave a long time ago.Good man!

Calm down about what? I was perfectly calm when I pointed out that Penn and Bono are show-biz phonies, trying to also look cool in the lit world by attaching themselves to writers like Buk. They do the same thing in the art world, as they alternately haunt and donate to museums, yet have no clue themselves how to draw a straight line. None of this upsets me, in fact it gives me quite a laugh.
