Freedom of Speech does not mean you can say anything you want, it means you have the right to express your opinion. They turned the mic off because he was being loud, going over his time and because he sais "blowjob". Does saying "blowjob" count as his freedom of speech? The dumbass deserved it and the cops should NOT be ashamed of themselves.

Dumbass, he didn't vote for Bush, why do you think he's rambling about IMPEACHING Bush?
GeneralHasslehoff (October 6, 2008 at 6:35 am)
Conspiracy B.S or not it is still bullshit that he didn't get his freedom of speech. The cops are even more idiotic.

Lets all pray for that fellow....

YOU'RE the moron. He was asking a bunch of conspiracy BS. They weren't arresting him for asking a question, they were going to take him in the back and give him a talk for going over the time limit for questions and resisting that. They tazed him because he we wouldn't stop resisting even when he should of. Consider this: what if he was crazy? What if he had a knife or a gun? The police don't take chances and I'm glad they don't.

If you haven't seen it yet I'd recommend watching the video titled WUFT Video Andrew Meyer & read the Wikipedia page titled "University of Florida Taser incident". Meyer was made he wasn't going to get to ask a question so he started pushing people out of his way, yelling & cursing at Kerry. He was ordered to leave by Police & ACCENT & refused. That's Disorderly Conduct & Trespassing, though he wasn't charged with it he most certainly could have been. Check out Wikipedia, it has great sources.

You're absolutely right quidamei so it's a good thing he was NOT arrested for asking a question. He was being removed after ACCENT cut the mic for breaking ALL of the forum rules, NOT arrested. Not until his actions warrented it. He CHOSE to violently resist a lawful removal & tried to get others to interfere with the Police. That's Resisting an Officer with violence, later changed to without & Inciting a Riot. It's also laws 3 & 4 he broke that day.

You all are the morons, that guy had an interreting question, nothing wrong about just a questions?! you don't arrest poeple for a question. Of course he would resist his arrest, arrested for what?!
