In fact, it makes allusion to New York in the 70's when there was Studio 54.. For me it sounds great. Makes me feel like I want to go there and explore it in many ways. Those guys singing are the pet shop boys (for those who asked). Watch the movie Studio 54 and understand. It's not about like it or not, it is about american culture.
