I think I'm going to be getting the nfo for uploading so I can do it myself, so I will be uploading a video, JUST FOR YOU ALL.I'll be talking about your son, and how I found your video! And, how your son touched my life.It may be tomorrow.

THANK YOU FOR THIS! I accidently pulled my one year old daughter's g button out (the first time it has been out) in the middle of the night. I panicked and thought I would have to take her to the ER, then realized that I could do this myself. Calmed myself down with an internet search and your video came up. With your "refresher," I changed the button myself, no problem. Bless you and your special baby--they bring light to our world!

Well now that he's a bit older, we just change it while he's standing and it takes about two seconds. He doesn't miss a beat and it doesn't upset him anymore. He's had it most of his life and so to him it's just a part of his body. He lifts our shirts and laughs at our tubeless bellies.

THIS VIDEO MAKES ME SO SAD.I mean, I wish I cd wear that for him, and that he did NOT have to use it.IF I CD, I'de take the pain for EVERYONE ELSE, and bear it for myself. That way, NOONE ELSE WOULD HAVE TO.

I think it's cool that you're demystifying the whole stoma thing by posting a film like this. Three cheers for moms, who do whatever needs ot be done ot take care of their babies.

i just wanted to comment to the person that asked why you would post such a video on youtube.....i know you said for other mothers, however I am a nursing student and videos like this are very helpful. some ppl use youtube for more than just looking at stupid stuff. i did tear up when i saw this. you and your child are in my prayers and thank you for posting this. like i said before these kinds of videos are very helpful.

Great video. My daughter also has a g-tube (among other things) I have changed Emma's mickey a million times but I do agree that some moms or dads or whoever that watch this would be very helped by it. Also for those worried, it isn't really that painful of a thing usually, my daughter never fusses when I change hers. |
