Dude i have done karate and I really have to say karate is like a monkey moving and like not so useful I've done both but I would reccomend tae kwon do

Usefull how? For fighting or for deonstration?I agree that the kicks in taekwondo are more impressive, but if you look at it from a fighting point of view I personally feel that (full contact) karate is more "usefull".I have not had too much trouble when I have been sparing tkd-practitionars, but they sure can jump high :-)

I've learned karate and I have to say Tae kwon do is way more useful and karate is like crap. NO offense but it is....

The team patterns are done perfectly together - :)Some of the reverse turning and 540 degree kicks and cartwheel kicks that end up breaking boards are really impressive!!

taekwondo is Not Effective & Not Useful in the real street fight.Boxing, Karate and Kickboxing are proven to be an effective martial arts in sports and in real life senario.
