M249s also have a buffer built into the buttstock that absorbs recoil.

0:20 was an AR styled rifle of unknown caliber. but likely chambered in 9mm2:23 was another AR styled rifle chambered in 9mm1:16 looked a lot like a Glock, but im not 100% sure1:06 was an AR styled rifle, chambered in 9mm2:00 was a 12 gauge benelli M1 semiauto shotgun( i do believe)2:57 im not quite sure. Maybe an AK variation of some sort? but could also be an AR variant. (there are many of both, so...)

Nice shootin'.I'm from Texas, but haven't really been able to find any kind of shooting competitions in my general area. Nowhere worth the gas money, at least.

the reason there is little recoil is:1. like you said.2. it fires the .223, not what i would call 'heavy'3. he has it on a bipod, it stops vertical recoil.
