ogm this video is absolutely amazing im going to the galapagos with ACIS this upcoming summer and one of the things im looking most foward to is the giant tortoises =)why on earth are there roads there though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( thats kinda lame......

Beautiful video. Every time I think that I want to visit the Galapagos I read where too much ecotourism may be damaging the islands. These are beautiful animals. Thank you for sharing. I have a 14 year old African Tortoise who grazes in my backyard but he is only a little over 100 pounds. He is legal to keep and is not in danger of extinction, so don't post bad responses. My wife teaches kindergarten and he goes up to school once a year where he is quite a hit.
