Urban Dance Squad is an older band. Tom Morello was touring in a support band with Urban Dance Squad, before he made Rage Against The Machine. Then, he was influenced by this sound and made RATM. You can search in Internet, interviews, etc.

uds have a kind of happy energy that neither ratm nor rhcp have, in my opinion their charisma is a totally different one. loved it since i first heard them!
