Well I think the Clash were the best, but I like the Pistols too. Steve Jones rocked on guitar. Their problem was going for style over substance- kicking out Glen Matlock who wrote great songs and bringing in Sid Vicious for his looks.

Punks do not compare the pistols and the clash; anyone who does completely misses the point and needs to STFU or go to a Hall & Oates concert.

The Sex Pistols were good but the general population wouldn't accept them, that's why they failed. The Clash on the other hand were punk but were more acceptable.
