Starcraft II WWI demo. final battle (Protoss vs. Terran)
STARCRAFT II ANNOUNCED! Starcraft II sequel to one of the most legendary, classic, and most popular original RTS games: Starcraft, and its expansion Starcraft: Brood War. In a highly anticipated state, this sequel from Blizzard, is yet to be slated for specific release time (expected to be around December/ late 2007 though). Involves conversion of the original RTS game, into full 3D, fantastic graphic and lighting effects, as well as utilizing of new Havoc physics engine. Changes in each race:Zerg: Zerglings can evolve mutate to explosive, suicidal, splash-damaging, small, and rolling - "Banelings"Terran - New Marine-like Reapers with light firepower pistol arms, fast, and effective at raiding, with jetpacks.Protoss - Zealot (has new rapid approach ability called charge)Immortals - former dragoons in original SC, now supported by heavier, shells and new resiliant shield only activated by heavy firepower, uses twin linked Cannon-like laser blasts that inflict heavy dmg. especially on heavy-armored artillery type enemies; can't attack air)(P.S. - dragoons no longer exist by former name or form, according to Starcraft2.com, their once holy "shrine" is infested with zerg influence, and the transformation is no longer possible, remaining goons have become elite immortals)Stalker - lighter armed, also dragoon resembling new units. Basically stealthy dark templars that devote themselves to race, by sacrificing body to infuese their psychic entity with mechanical being and armor much like dragoon's; has ability to blink and teleport around short distances, has piercing med. rate laser fire that causes decent dmg.; all around effective against regular infantry and some air)Colossus - new gargantuan protoss mechanical unit; much resembles "tripods" from film, War of the worlds, with long extended thin legs that support a main body portion located high up in air, that shoots thick dual laser beams to obliterate infantry-type units; can't attack airNew air units:Phoenix - light fire rate and regular damage, faster, scouter type air unit overall, light armor, easily taken down by heavier units such as battle cruiser. Still has cool ability to overcharge and put up a massive continuous fire rate for a short time, rapidly launching blue-ish laser ball streaks that pound into enemies all around, and quickly take them down. However, ability causes phoenix to be temporary immobilised for several seconds.Warp Ray - Medium armor, med speed air unit. Effective against heavier armored air units, by the fact that they can only hit one unit at once with a continuous laser beam; starting at a specific damage rate, this damage is strengthened again and again by the longer the time the beam can be continued to be fired at same enemy through same attack; continuous, unending laser attack, increasing dmg rate by time. Appearence: Petal shaped strange air vessel with a tubular figure connecting very small object that acutally outputs the laser beam attack and the main back portion of the vesselMothership - ultimate protoss unit; only one present at a given time; Very heavy, decently fast damage and attack rate, that even attack numerous enemies on both land and air at same time. Has quite heavy armor, but cannot survive under too much firepower other than by using its abilities/ otherwise needs backup and support. Abilities/powers: Black hole (sucks in nearby air units), Planet cracker (which fires a massive bombardment on ground, with missiles, several laser beams, that continously cause mass destruction, and mother ship is still mobile (but mothership's shield is automatically turned off, and it is left somewhat defenseless to incoming enemy fire), final ability = time bomb (which activates massive shield around mothership which renders all incoming enemy missile projectile harmless, and drops them to the ground) Appearence: almost like a giant piece of dome and numerous unidentifiable objects within the glassy like surface of dome; most probably more crystals and insane protoss technology.) also has three pointer edges, and in color - is a mixture of gold and blue; almost somewhat representing a world on its own considering its massive size as well; when it is under heavy dmg., it reveals the common protoss "blue" flame that we often saw in original SC when the protoss buildings were dmged.

dow2 is better...blizzard just stole the ideassc2 is good too! but i dont like that the battlegrounds are clear again after a few secs :( so dow2 has way better action and much more fight :D

protoss zerg and terran are going to be equal on the battle field. protoss are extremely strong and are really hightech. zerg have many numbers and are cheap but they are natural and weak. terran are very flexible and have very good defense! |
