VinylJunkie: Great post and commentary. But with all due respect I must correct the date shown at the end of this clip. I could be wrong but if I recall the copyright marks correctly, the "Universal Love" LP was released in '75, not '73. '73 was the copywritten year for both the first two LPs, "MFSB" and "Love Is The Message," although the single "TSOP (The Sound of Philadelphia) (Theme from 'Soul Train')" is listed as being released in '74.

pretty cool! i was wondering if you heard of a song named freak and fine? i think thats the name & some of my oldschool people said that the artist might be a group name mandre? or mandrell? from the late 70s or early 80s not sure.but if you can help me i would realy be gratful! thanks. |
