At 1995 I watched the "Zauberflute" on the satelit Italian chanel from the "la Scala" in Milano.There was an excellent Pamina in the Opera. The end of the performance I read on the screen Pamina= Andrea Rost.

I think she can best be appreciated on stage rather than this poor recording. Her voice fills a hall and shimmers beautifully live, but here sounds steely.
