It's not just muslims who could learn much by listening to, and really thinking about, what this brilliant woman has to say; it is also non muslims. I am an atheist, a 'western infidel' if you wish, and I have been forced to look at these issues differently, and more intelligently after reading some of her writing. She is a real treasure in this strange time.

a brave woman. I have a suggestion - as some who lives in the middle east I know that most Arabs that could have been influenced by such claims cn not understand them due to lack of knowledge of the English language. If anyone of you know people that can translate books of Irshad and other material to Arabic and spread it in the middle east - It will make a huge change. currently - Arabs and mulslims here don't hear those important voices of people like Manji, think about that!!!

I have enlightened Muslim friends but even they are afraid to speak out against fundamentalism. Nothing on this planet is above criticism. So many sick and twisted ideologies have been eradicated because we have spoken out: apartheid etc. A friend of mine producing a doco was in Saudi Arabia and was sickened by what she saw.She was beaten by morality police with sticks because her lips were protruding from a Burkah while trying to eat a hamburger.This is not faith this is a human rights abuse

Islam is so goddamn hypocritical. With all the money that flows from oil wells towards the Mullahs and leaders in Saudi arabia and other parts of the Holy land, they could so easily fix the misery of their Muslim brethren in third world ghettos such as Palestine and Iraq. However they would lose their Holy Martyrs for the cause and we couldnt hate the Zionists as much. Fact: the number one killers of Muslims are other Muslims.
