If everyone voted based on values: Mcain would' a won. There was only a 4.7% difference in votes. But Obama got 96.5% of African-American votes. Now I don't believe all the African-Americans believed in what he wanted to do with the country. If they had voted according to who's values they supported: Mcain would have most likely won.
