It makes me cry with joy, every time. He passed away just after my beloved Grandfather, so I couldn't handle going to Jimmy's funeral. It was at Campbells, just like my Grandfathers. I read in the paper the crowds outside were screaming, "GOODBYE JIMMY! WE LOVE YOU, JIMMY!" I couldn't have handled that, especially because my Grandfather reminded me a lot of Jimmy. Only Jimmy was a Cancerian like me. I love you, Jimmy, wherever you are, dancing in Heaven. oxoxoxo

Neither of us can really speak for the dead, but more likely he'll be rolling over in his grave at what his country has become under Bush. Supporting your country is one thing: supporting the government that's running it is another thing entirely. The spirit of America was always freedom of thought, not blind acquiescence.

cagney is rolling over in his grave at todays actors who bash america constantly. ex. martin sheen,sean penn,redford etc. SHAMEFUL. IMAGINE SEAN PENN DOING A REMAKE OF THIS MOVIE,? neither can i.

ted turner colorized casablanca, errol flynn's captain blood and seahawk (which ARE JUST GREAT) and errol flynn's , they died with their boots on , which is grand, the outdoor epics in colorized form seem to work better, but i like the colorized treatments except for the big city dramas shot indoors. so have both!!! cagney had all the color, it always came thru no matter what!
