Hahn is good and very cute. However, her name does not belong in the same sentence as Kogan, a legend and giant of the violin.

The only sin here is only having the last 20 seconds of the cadenza, wtf!

What a remarkable recording. The passion, and charisma. He is so sincere with his musical interpretation. He makes Shostakovich Beautiful. The Hilary Hahn recording has much to learn compared to this Russian giant.Kogan and Oistrakh's recordings of the Shosty Concerto will remain the standard. |
