I don't know why this song didn't get more airplay in the US...it's a nice change from all the synth-pop that was on the charts back in 1983. By the way, we snuck this on the air a couple of times at a country formatted radio station I worked at back in the late 80s. Obviously, it was close enought to all the pop-country-rock hybrid stuff that was on the country charts then that no one noticed!Maybe some current country act can cover the song?

saw these guys years and years ago at the hammersmith, then, odeon! support band didn't show so roddy frame came on and did a solo acoustic set to kick it all off.... genius |
