Yeah well it's all got to be PC bullshit now - they don't dare actually reflect reality like they initially tried to do - horrifying parents up and down the country to the great amusement of the kids who watched it (like me!)

There is no doubt in my mind that it will return, I mean look at Doctor Who, if that show can come back with sheer brilliance after a 16yrs absence, then anything is possible, and look how crappy that show got nearing the end of its original run. If and when they do bring Grange Hill back they need to put more quallity into it, better acting, better storys, and man do they need to fix up the crapy back ground music that Grange Hill has suffered in recent years. Cheers Buddy.

Thank You very much for your comment. I very much agree with you, the series had changed alot. When i watched in the late 70s and 80s it was like watching a real school and your mates. In the 90s it just became another drama programme like any other and seemed not real. I hope in the future they can bring it back and capture its magic and appeal again as this was such an important programme when i was growing up,

When I was a little lad in England this show was good, when I was 21 I returned to England after 16yrs, and boy did this show look like it had been turned to shit. Bad acting, bad directing, bad editing, stupid storys, the works

No wonder they canned it - it's like a bad episode of Hollyoaks. Only Todd Carty there gives a little glimpse of the old magic this once had.

yeh i know cbbc took away all their good shows (dick and dom in the bungalow and stuff like that) because they sed they were 2 violent and when grange hill lowers the fights and drugs and stuff they ban it because they say it's not enough like real life

I love the kids faces in the first few scenes.First day of High School!!I remember it well. A daunting process and their faces betray it well :)
