Hi there stevenjohn1985 and thanks for your note. Sorry if you felt that my video was somehow "knocking" Malton. Not at all. I was pointing out that Mississauga spent $500,000 (yes, half a million) on public input sessions/symposia held at Mississauga Civic Centre/City Hall --and they seemed to have forgotten to invite Malton.Not to mention how far Square One is from Malton. I believe Malton is neglected by Mississauga Council. That was the point of my video.Aloha,MISSISSAUGAWATCH

i live in malton and have for 23 years... there is no more crime here than there is in toronto, scarborough bramton etc.... i walk alone at midnight and am never bothered so don't knock it...

Hi there youtuke220,Yes, I've been to Malton and I agree with your comments. My video was posted to show that the City of Mississauga held this extravagant ($500,000) strategic plan citizen involvement speaker series and symposium. I sensed that few of those attending the events at Mississauga Civic Centre lived in Malton.Question: Have you gone into the Malton Community Centre and seen the plaque stating that "any person can be directed by staff to leave at any time without cause"?

Hi amalcut. Yes, I figured you lived in Mississauga --just wondering what part. I'm an immigrant too. Like a lot of post-war immigrants, we came to Mississauga in the 50's. Of course, it wasn't Mississauga back then. 1953 --Wow, 55 years ago... I agree with you that there's little hope but likely for a different reason. 300 Centre Drive.Take care.

Malton is a slum and crime infested. Any surprise there. Look at the demographics. It might as well be part of Pakistan and Jamaica. Its filthy and dirty and where most of Mississaugas homicides are. What a dump. That's multiculturalism for you. |
