Hello christ, you are correct about the significance of cholesterol for cell function, and i believe you have adequate amount of cholesterole in your body but its distribution is particularly unhealthy for your cardiovascular system. Your body cannot sweep the remnant cholesterol from your veins and it makes it easier for cholesterol to accumulate in your blood vessels. There can be no neurological problem except that of stroke-like vascular problems of your nervous system.

I have something called hyperlipoproteinemia (sp?). My body produces very little HDL. I wonder if there is any implication with autism and low HDL. When I say low HDL, I'm talking single digits here. Because cholesterol is important for cell function, has there been any research about neurological conditions brought on by low HDL? |
