Hey, can any of you guys please tell me if LIRR and Metro North are class 1 railoroads and by the way, they still do run M1s, just not as often though, but what I'm missing is the GP-38s passenger run, now that shit sucked when they took that off of passenger service.

They do, but like bmtlines said, they are going and a majority of them are already gone. They now have M-7s mostly and M-3's running. They M-3's are exactly identical for the exception that the M-1's have different cab windows where the conductor and engineer looks out and the AC in the middle of the M-3.

The LIRR had a formal farewell fantrip last year. I understand that some are still around but they are going to go soon.
