You could pick almost any spot in Hiroshima as ground zero especially near the coastline. It doesn't make any difference if you place the epicenter over land or a couple of hundred yards out to sea. There is no eyewitness testimony that pinpoints exactly where the bomb exploded because if you were close enough to see it, you didn't live to tell the tale.

It has been understood that both of the ground zero was the sky over the urban area. There are a lot of eyewitness testimonies, too. Did the air force make a mistake in the place that had to be dropped?

A memo declassified in the 1990s. There was an article on it in the Detroit Free Press at that time.

i like japanese they are also innocent people no matter what they did it was just history matter but shot the nuclear bomb was not necssary because it is not acceptable such a cruelty ! i am korean now i feel so sad so many people in hirosima and nagasaki people died may the God bless upon them
