It's about the bosses having double health in hard mode, or their only and normal mode. Plus, the tornadoes ARE pretty damn hard to avoid. :P

Basically it's an exaggeration of how hard Airman is in the Japanese version. You see, their "normal mode" is our "difficult mode" and in that mode, all the bosses have double health.
