Just recieved a laser from www.wickedlasers.com in the post. Now i've played with laser's before, as i'm sure you all have but I wasn't expecting this. For a start, your average laser pointer that can be purchased in the shops is 5mw. This beast is rated at 150mw!The beam it produces is amazingly bright and can be seen clearly, the thing that impressed me more than anything was the distance. It just keeps on going! You can shine a clear spot onto objects that are miles away, although keeping that spot stable at such a long distance becomes a problem without a tripod! The laser itself is well made, comes in its own wooden presentation case with space for spare batteries and even has an engraved metal holder for it, handy if you want to take it somewhere but don't want to carry the wooden case about. The holder has a felt lining to stop it getting scratched. The power button feels strong and sturdy and the batteries last about 100 hours. You need to be careful with these lasers as they are not a toy, i repeat NOT A TOY!We will get some long range videos uploaded as soon as possible. For now though, we have put together a compilation of lasers from www.wickedlasers.comAs ever, for more information on this or any of our other videos check out www.hack247.co.uk

It's way more effective to make your own I agree, I am working on a laser riffle with TEC pelier cooling for a 30-60 watt 808 IR laser, portable, though not at all " hand size " the Li-Ion battery alone is a pound and a half.

So can you hide in the bushes and burn people?

Oh, I didn't see the Elite series...but I SERIOUSLY doubt that it's 150mW+ though, WL has a terrible reputation and they constantly send out underpowered products. Not to mention they overprice everything. Lol $2000 dollars for a 60mW Sonar II when I can make a 100mW+ blu-ray from a PHR-803T diode for less then $50. The Elite 100+ is 250% more than a 100mW from another seller that actually sends out in-spec products...

Where the hell have you been? wicked lasers sells those along with higher rated lasers.

Hold on, the last one with the water balloon i have a problem with... You will find that if you get a balloon willed with water and put a naked flame under it the balloon will not melt. This is due to the water dispersing the heat from the flame. I don't see how this principal has been avoided. I think he had a pin in his hand.Never the less, the laser looks pretty cool.
