Okay I have to agree that we do wear hats because it's cold, I just don't get how it's weird. Trees I don't think are weird they just grow like crazy here. Although you touched on many of Portland's oddities there are so many more that could fill well over an hour of footage. The problem is I would never watch this documentary if it were an hour long... It was unbearable enough watching for ten min. with such awful narration, it was the most boring and unenthusiastic I've ever heard.

The hats are left over from grunge,PDX never got the message.Downtown PDX has the market on weird.The outlying city is pretty normal.

0 - 11 Long Beach CA11 - 26 Hillsboro and Portland ORSince then, Japan and now Thailand, for two decades. Thanks for the video. I visited my folks in the area for two months this spring and was struck yet again that Portland is a pretty special place. Portland even has some cool politicians. It's also the greenest city politically in the nation. Can't wait to show this to my Thai gf. Thanks again for the vid.
