If your Erzilie Freda makes you white, then there is a problem. How did Erzilie Freda end up that way? If the demonstration of your beliefs are not rooted in your identity, there will be problems. Whites know this. Why do you think they fabricated the image of Jesus to look like them? So why is Erzilie Freda portrayed as white Mary? That certainly does not represent the African ancestors you worship.

Yea honey. Our roots run very DEEP. I feel your pain. African empresses have been mistreated for so many years BY THIER OWN SONS ESPECIALLY. Im a young cat and its such a pity that so many other young brothas wont wake up and appreciate natural beauty of black love. Im glad you know who you are and for that you will live a blessed life.

Thank you for that love. I am a dahomey initiate, I wear Erzilie Freda like Mary J Blige and Tyra Banks, Ru Paul , Beyonce, Tina Turner, People think that I am trying to be white and it is hysterical to me because the look I wear represents my worship of my African Ancestors. It is my joi de vivre. It is so funny. Africans get it when they see me. They say Oshun or Ezilie. They know what it is all about. American folks miss the point. We are deep. Deeper than hair and complexion.

White women where wigs and weaves without having a word said about it. Black women and Asian women developed the technology for it. Yet if they where it they are criticized. As a black woman I hate that. I feel that I have the right to where what I want to just like white women do. People like you do nothing but mentally abuse me and others because you are not happy with your self. You are a self hater in your own way. You hate your people. You hate black women. God will deal with this soon.

This is an absolute classic from Bilal. Soul Sister in many ways: soul as in EXISTENTIALIST CONNECTION; soul as in SOUL MUSIC; soul as in LOVE; soul as in SISTER . . . Soul Sista.

Some black women have prided themselves in claiming their weaves are "human hair." OK, but it's still asian hair or something else other than a black person's hair. As a black man, I find it quite disturbing when I see Asian hair, white hair, etc. weaved over a black woman's head. The socio-psychological implication is embarassing. I have an upcoming documentary that will illustrate this. Feel free to weave, braid, & do whatever you want, but maintain and use your own hair, black women.

It's not like that at all: The further and longer we away from Africa, we get whiter and SISSIER - that's a fact. Black->brown->chocolate then white then yellow then extinct[Japan] Some serrious thinking here:)
