is it me or does Bubba Watson seem to put the ball pretty far back in his stance for a driver. Might be the angle of the camera, but even when considering that it still looks pretty far back.

Ryan Moore is a trip. He's one of those guys that actually hits his woods on the same upright plane as he would hit his 5 iron.

Any good pro would pick the 8. Absolutely. An unskilled iron player would take the wedge. But Bubba's length sometimes puts him 50 or 60 yards ahead of another guy's drive, not 20-25. If you're talking about the difference between a 150-yard flyer wedge from not-so-bad rough and a 200-yard four- or five-iron, then maybe you got something. Still, if you build a game around missing fairways, you're going to win some Bob Hopes but not so many majors. Or at least that's how it should be.

8 into the green. for sure. he has the strength but can't control his spin out of the rough. no one can

bet he could still beat you. tour leading driving distance, top 10 at us open, at oakmont of all courses. Swing may look bad, but they still work. furyk for example. its where the club is at impact that matters.

Would you rather have an eight into the green from the fairway, or a wedge from rough? With the power Bubba has, he has no trouble getting out of 4-inch rough.
