I know it's a bit of a cliche, but there's something Kafkaesque about the arrangement of this particular proceeding. The lone painting--warm and pleasant--in the middle of the wall separating drab inquisitor/anonymous bureaucrat with ludicrous power of life and limb on one side and the victim of the grinding wheels of mindless state machine on the other. And in defense of so loathsome an ideology as islam.

Here is what Canadian Statesman Mr.Ezra said in U.S. Congress's bi-partisan human rights caucus on July 11, 2008."Publish annual reports shaming foreign countries for their abuses of freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Put Canada on that list, to let our government know what they're doing isn't acceptable."Having regard to US legislative process,"Fixhist" feel moral responsibility not to comment on this issue any more.

ForOrAgainstUs I was being cynically sarcastic.

He's referring to how all interpretations of intent should be handled--not by the state but through societal association and disassociation. Courts, he claims, are meant to handle deeds. Intent (thought policing) is not a matter for the "hammer of the state."

Perhaps Danish had to learn hard way,the treaties & laws of reciprocal implied restrictions & rights of intellectual property.Japan has taken up danish copy right registrations from July 1st,2008, so far Denmark didn't have any one to register their own copy & Intellectual property rights.I Wonder! who will pay for death of 100 people due to Danish caricature product?Never too let, I hope these danish caricatures should go away, sooner the better,I guess. Ah, I was unaware of that. Even so, lawyers especially understand the truth of the adage, "he who is his own attorney has a fool for a client".
