from what i got out of it that was kind of the point of the speech. He made a speech unconstrained by orthodoxy and step past the line of Political Correctness. He wasnt trying to win, he made the speech for the students of Belmont it wasnt for anything else. Not an ego boosting speech(like most of them are) it was for pure entertainment and something the class of 08 will always remember(hopefully). Speeches like this make high school enjoyable.
