Laws were made to be broken. I don't believe in God, but if he did 'create' us, then he gave us the beautiful thing of freewill.

As with any song, just listen and if you need to, apply it to your life as you want...no need to argue over anything on a music video that someone posted for the world to enjoy.

I have read the Bible several times. It's okay to disagree with some things in it though. I am a strong Christian, yet I still have my own beliefs that may be different then others. I respect your views though.

You have to realise, that we are not the ones who make the standards of what is right or wrong. If God said its wrong(Leviticus 18:22), then it just is. It goes against moral and physical laws.

You're totally off topic. They are two people in love. Just like straight people. It shouldn't make a difference whether you love the same gender or not.

Also, like I said in a comment many months ago on this video, why argue for or against religion when all it leaves you with is a divided understanding and some heated feelings? I'm sure your intentions are good but you could hurt a lot of good people's feelings with those comments. I see people for who they are, regardless of their religion or sexual orientation. that's all

You're absolutely right. If I knew true the meaning behind it, I would understand the song a lot more. But regardless of whether Kearney's intent was religious or not, I would like it just the same because of what it means to me.

Well, wouldn't it help you to understand the song a little better if you understoodf the meaning behind it?

So what if a 40 year old perver thinks he's in love with a 5 year old girl. That does not give him the right to give in to those feelings. That would be something gravely wrong if he did. And we hear stories like that on the news all the time. The same goes for gays. Just because they are attracted to each other, doesn't mean they have to give in to such immoral behaviour. |
