Led Zeppellin, The Beatles and Eric Clapton are all musical geniuses whether you like it or not. The 80's weren't amazing for music but I have no clue why you wouldn't mention U2, early Green Day, late Pink Floyd, and early Nirvana. Johnny Marr's been playing gutar since 82, so if you don't like Modest Mouse's new style, he's not the person to blame it on.

YES! finally someone with sense.People are fooling themselves into thinking they're still good - WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO ACCEPT SECOND RATE MUSIC WHEN BY DEFAULT IT SHOULD BE THE BEST?!
legoflamb504 (July 7, 2008 at 7:15 pm)
oh noes! popular opinion means that I must be wrong! led zepthe beatlesthe smithseric claptongeorge bushAll absolutely pony I'm afraid, yet most people like them. Again, you do the math.Oh and just so you know the 80's was a terrible time for music. Early metallica and blondie are about the only good things to come out of that decade.

The Smiths are considered one of the greatest 80's bands, they're legends you dumb fuck.

i dont think its boring... not nearly as soulful or unexpected as their previous work, but you cant say they sold out because they still sound totaly original (not that you did) |
