wow- Getz and Trane had very different sounds and styles but they could certainly sound great playing together, couldn't they? This was great to see/ hear. It seemed like Getz loosened up after Trane's solo and this was the most creative I ever heard him play. This must be about 30 year old video. Great piano solo too, by ?

My musical knowledge is fairly limited and does not extend to jazz but I know good music. Music appreciation holds no relevance to music knowledge. My mum grew me up on Getz and Coltrane and Davis and for that I am truly grateful. It doesn't get much better than this. Thank you for sharing this love.

to die foras a young man avid jazz fan working as a chef in paris stan getz oscar petterson & ella fitzgerald were regular visitors to the hotel & gave free tickets to all of their concerts was i in heaven or what
