I also think Gary just can't sustain those high notes like he used to. He has changed his whole style so he doesn't have to hold those high note longer than he has to. He ends up singing like a bad lounge singer. I am truly a big fan and miss his old delivery.

A lot of this bands songs started with the chorus. The powerful start to the songs really gets you in.

I got the whole album...the vinyl and 8 track!!! Still plays and sounds better than the digital complation that I have.

For a while, I thought this song came out in either the late seventies or early eighties (for some reason, I thought it sounded like the music of that time). I was surprised to find out I was wrong by about 10-15 years. Really good song, though.

I also think he is right his voice is not the same and he changed all the great songs the way he used to sing them.I guess I am just OLD SCHOOL.

yeah its a great song and gary had a great voice.....however, he is still performing! His voice now is awful in comparison. just look at the youtube videos of his live performances...

Phenomenal music by Gary Puckett perhaps my favourite of the Union Gap although Over You and Young Girl are great and the themes are the innocent girl learning about ... life. And the guy will ... teach... well I think that role has changed ... now.
