I do appratiate your good intentions but you must change yuur ways. You are calling my words blah blah before I answer to you. All I did was a correction about her age to an ignorant person who is so lonley that he wanted to believe this woman was the same age of her death mother. I´ll fight as long as I am alive!! I don´t think you can correct people´s mistakes when you do so much yourself.

What precious memories I have of her! During the 3 years I spent in Tokyo, it was my pleasure to see her on tv many tims; each time I heard her fantastic voice, I wish I could spend hours listening to her. I have her last video at the Tokyo Dome during the final stage of cancer--what courage! Her funeral procession was shown on tv all over Japan and the entire nation was in mourning. Truly a national treasure of Japan. I miss her deeply.

正直、「悲しい酒」は余り好きな曲ではないんだが、この時の、このひばりさんの歌だけは、泣けて泣けて仕方がない。これが最後になるだろうと覚悟して、噛みしめながら歌っているのが伝わってきて、堪らなく涙が出る。素敵な歌の数々をひばりさんの歌で聴けて、そしてこんなに素晴らしいものを沢山遺してくれて、ひばりさん、本当に有難う、と言いたい。我々聴衆のために個人としての幸せを捨ててくれたその歌手としての生き様に、胸が詰まる。

A profoundly moving, heartbreakingly beautiful performance by the Empress of Enka! As far as I'm concerned, no one but Piaf herself could sing a torch-song like Misora-san. I am sure The Little Sparrow and The Beautiful Skylark are singing duets in Heaven that the angels themselves envy.
