David Attenborough presents the amazing lyre bird, which mimics the calls of other birds - and chainsaws and camera shutters - in this video clip from The Life of Birds. This clever creature is one of the most impressive and funny in nature, with unbelievable sounds to match the beautiful pictures. That's great but there is also a neat little book called "The Origin of Species", which explains how animals have adapted to their environments via evolution. Also we have modern, incontestable examples of evolution e.i. moths that evolved darker colored wings during the industrial evolution, etc. All I'm saying is that not every book published is hard solid fact.

This fascinating bird was the inspiration for a upcoming book for young adults titled, The Land of Intuit. I'm looking for a publisher. 'til then...any constructive feedback? gracias.

Only the great Sir David Attenborough could have caught such an marvelous moment on camera . It`s quite an irony ... this bird sung it`s own doom , its habitat was being destroyed by some machines it imitated.
