This is a mockingbird. Amazing ability to make sound like numerous other bird species in it's song. This is probably a male singing for a mate or proclaiming territory.

OMG! You're not kidding. I had one right outside my bedroom window a few weeks ago. They can be annoying when you're trying to sleep.lolThanks for watching.:)

Yeah, their songs are nice during the day...but try living with them after dark! They'll keep on singing till morning!

I know, but I'm just to lazy to carry one with me.:)

You really could use a tripod...and perhaps a better handicam.

There're a couple of pairs of Mockingbirds nesting in my yard this spring! I love to hear them, even sing late at night. I just shot some footage of Cedar Waxwings, I'll have the vid posted soon. Thanks for watching!

Enjoy God's gracious creature who can sing over 30 songs. He is divine! What would you rather have 1000s of swooping pigeons who create a reeking mess in your yard. Get real people, the bird is innocent, but some of your thoughts of disliking it aren't. I also like the Bushtit and Cedar Waxwing.

lol, mockingbirds are very territorial! They can sometimes be bullies. I've been swooped many times. They still sound lovely though. Thanks for rescuing the babies, I'm sure they appreciated it. All kind gestures will be remembered.:)Thanks for watching!

Mockingbirds are bastards lol! They are always swooping at us and the cats near my work usually when they got babies...but 3 different times in two years babies have fallen out of the nest and can fly just a lil...I caught them and called the animal people and they took them...I knew the cats would kill em if I didn't...Hopefully it will be remembered on judgement day...
