HigherWisdom, I know that this will shock you, bur did you know that you can question anyone's beliefs ncluding you're own? George raised issues across the intellectual spectrum and gave his opinion. His ethos was "think for yourself". A practice religion hates. It promotes the practice of gulliblility, intellectual blindness and mind control (otherwise known as "faith") as the ultimate philosophical, emotional and moral state to achieve. Faith is the suppression of free thinking. It's stupidity

When Carlin died, I wonder what would happen if he had to meet God face to face. What would Mr. Funnypants tell him? I love how Carlin's philosophy is don't belong, don't accept the known, don't conform, yet by his own lectures, ironically, he's telling everyone else what to do and ridiculing what others believe because he doesn't accept it. Open minded my ass. The whole time he sounds so pissed off. It's not the funny Carlin of the early days. RIP George, wherever you are.
