That song, no matter who it's by, is an extremely powerful message.

not only that but the army they have and all of the population there they don't have to worry about casualties at all they could care less about the world they just wanted the olympics

True. I don't see the Chinese government doing anything in the near future. But, I'm just throwing this out there as food for thought; they probably would do something if the rest of the world really put pressure on them. Then again, as I mentioned before, it could just make them angry, and....well, where are most of the US's factories? China =/
alphaspartan118 (August 19, 2008 at 6:37 pm)
i see your point but China won't help because they are communist and most dictators could care less about the population as long as they get to increase their power

Phillip Cook is a moron, both for missing the point and thinking that more people know about the Beatles than God. I'm not religious but I'm pretty sure most of India/China/America is...ask them if they REALLY care about the Beatles. Last I checked there weren't any Lennon churches or mosques.
PUNKman132 (August 17, 2008 at 5:16 pm)
you are WRONG
FearethTheKitty (August 16, 2008 at 6:42 pm)
Amen :)People really ARE missing the entire point; the purpose of all of the covers done for the Instant Karma album was to raise awareness about the horrors in Darfur, not to cause an argument about who's better, Lennon or Green Day |
