Cal Worthington joined the CCC at 15 and then the army where he served as a pilot of B-17 flying fortress for 29 missions during WWII.(that's over germany, moron)Among his awards are five Air Medals and the Distinguished Flying Cross. he starting his bussiness renting a dirt lot for 25bucks. he represents the American dream and has earned what he has today. if you don't believe me, "go see cal!"

PUSSY COW!!!! I grew up listening to his commercials in Anchorage, Alaska in the 70's. It blows my mind that people all over the country got the lyrics wrong on this. As an 8year old, I was certain it was "pussy cow." Nice to see I'm not the only one who heard this!

Grew up in LA area and remember him like he was always on TV. Could anyone tell me one single thing he has done in return for the massive fortune he has made from So. Californians. Wing to a Children's Hospital, building for a school, homeless shelter? I have never heard of one little thing philanthropical, this guy has done as a thank you to Long Beach or anywhere else for that matter. Just grab the money and run. What a disgrace.
