There are a fighter who could answer this question (about Arguello-Chavez) and is the great fighter Ruben Castillo, Castillo fought too with Salvador Sanchez! Lamentably Sanchez died so young and it was impossible to compare Chavez-Sanchez-Arguello. I dont know why reporters never ask to Castillo about these three fighters!!

I am so glad you posted this video, I was the one person who asked "The Islander" about the Marciano vs Tyson dream match and I was actually surprised by his response, mainly because I really enjoy his show. I just didn't feel like going over it with him, after all he is entitled to his opinion. I also encourage people to subscribe it is a great show anyway. However it was cool see someone break down the facts the way you did. Thank you.

good points.I to think Tyson would destroy Rocky.To quick, had under-rated footwork and Rocky really his resume is no better than Tysons.Old Joe Luis old Archie Moore old Ezaard Charles old Joe walcott.

I looked this up for somebody else but the size you speak of wasn't as great as u think. Tyson in his prime 1986-1988 weighed in @ 215-221 1/2 at most. Most times he was 216-218. Marciano was 184-189 in his title fights same ht & gave away 4" reach to Tyson. Rock KO'd 2 guys in 1950 who were 220 and 229 respectively. We can agree to disagree neither liked fighting going backwards.

also can i have your take on where the gr8 middleweights of the 90's to present would be rated amonst the gr8s such as toney, jones jr, hopkins and calzaghe.

thanks for responding. and yes he did stop charles you're right.how would you rate spinks amongst the gr8 lightheavies, you have to have him with moore and charles and he beat holmes (tyson). holmes was to tyson wot louis was to rocky.but size does matter and i said that rocky may have been better p4p but it's like duran vs hearns (the better guy loses due to size).also names arent evrything, if they were, then lennox lewis would be the gr8est.

Thanks for taking the time to make this response, all of your points are good and most valid. Question how many hall of fame fighters are on Marciano's resume compared to Tyson's? You also left out that Marciano KO'd Charles in the 8th round of the rematch. Don't sell Archie Moore, Joe Walcott, and Ezzard Charles short they beat a lot of good heavyweights. And an old Joe Louis is better than most guys Tyson ever fought.
