Hand-Feeding Tropical Fish (Discus)
Many Tropical Fish Hobbyists think that Discus Fish are shy and that they are finicky eaters.I have found that, as long as you provide your fish with the right aquarium environment, they'll eat almost anything!MY Discus readily take beefheart, mysis, brine shrimp, and even flake food! And, as you can see from the video, they are far from shy!A healthy environment makes for a healthy appetite!Check out January's fish of the month post on www.theSmileyFish.com to read more about these extraordinary fish!

I should mention that I recorded this video a day or so before the fish spawned! That's why they're acting so territorial. Usually, my discus are much calmer during feeding time;) |
