Yeah you're totally right. It was futurama when "Mother" is trying to put the professor out of business and this commercial is their only marketing scheme. Don't worry, I was born in 1984 and have even read the book. It's just a pretty big stretch without the little narrative explanation at the end.

I Belive that was Futurama, or maybe they both did. But The delivery company in futurama had a TV commersial exactly like this one. I dident get the reference either until now. I was born 2 years after this, maybe thats why? LawL
