The way I see it, this had to be non-scripted. They didn't do much other than talk about the desk, not Jesse James Dupree's music. What people see is some guy come on and cut the desk, then play the chainsaw attached to a guitar. What they don't know (Because Tom doesn't say it), the chainsaw is the band's gimmick, they put out a CD where the one song uses a guitar for the solos (They have also hooked the chainsaw up to a voicebox like Peter Frampton to make it 'talk').
