And why was he working with the USA? The US has always tried to have strategic partnerships with the Mid East Oil rich nations. That's what we're trying to do now in Iraq if you hven't figured that out. The lack of political turnover and representaional government in that region has made it very difficult for diplomacy. We have had to sell our souls to the devil- The Shah, the Saudi Royal Family. The US will not leave the Mid East, the oil is too cheap, relative to other sources.

To all those who cry out for diplomacy before war- WAKE UP! THIS was our attempt at diplomacy with this mad man Hussein back in 1981!! The world was sick of him by 2003 and since there was no system in place in IRAQ to allow for political turnover- Out he goes! Good riddance Saddam.

Sadam was not bad man jus bad descion making in the end. He lied about WMD, so Iran wouldnt invade. He ruled the way he did, bucz in that postion who can you trust not Rumsfield or U.S anymore. Iran an Russia get together on Sadam who does he have... Either you cool with U.S or their going to run your country's GOV. North Korea/ Bush aint gone try check them in four moves I bet.
