I got the wood from a local cedar post supplier. The logs were 8' long, de-barked and very dry. Probably a couple of years after cutting. Construction $20,000.

Use clear silicone caulking; run the silicone around the inside of the mouth of the jar, then lower the jar over the bottle neck until it makes contact with the body of the bottle. Leave them standing for a day or so until the silicone dries. |
