i used to believe American trucks were the best trucks in the world, i was wrong, nobody told me, i bought a toyota truck myself in 1995. I have not put any money to my toyota truck other than tires and brakes, my truck has over 250000 miles and still runs great.

The American car makers are some of the most selfish, short-sighted greedy bastards who have ever lived on this little planet. Marketing all those ghastly gas guzzling SUVs - they all deserve to go out of business. And, you're right about the quality as well...Sad really.

It seems some of these yanks dont like the truth! Bottom line is that US-made cars are years behind in technology, of mediocre (at best!) build quality, and over-priced for what they are! If you doubt it, find anywhere outside Nth America where they have significant market share.

Hilxues are bulletproof. my brother rolled his 2.8 litre hilux and smashed into a power poll and it still runs like a dream, started up first go. lolGO THE HILUXEs
