Im not perfect. Get over it. and if your going to sigh at me at least add the damn sigh!!Im not acting smart {although i could just post like you did} I have studied music, including percussion. I never said he wasnt, i asked... "what the hell???" Im not a drummer, im a singer, and i might have heard wrong, but it sounded like he was doing roughly the same things each time. I only said that i think i know drum offs... although i prolly dont. and i gave an opinion, I most certainly didnt trash it intentionally {if i did at all, im not sure about that}. I know they are all excellent drummers, but it really did seem like Colaiuta didnt have cthe control the others had.

Great, traf182, you made your point, over and over and over again. Nobody cares. It's your opinion, we know it now. You're the big man on campus, the alpha male. The ego has spoken. Thank you. You're right, absolutely right. How could anyone doubt you? How could a bevy of drummers not see it your way? The nerve of us. They are all good drummers, each to his own taste. Let it go and please try to get a grip on the ego trip. Oh no, here comes more....I can smell it.

Maybe I used the wrong terms. I mean to say that Weckl is impeccable in his originality anda creativity, technique, diversity. That's what a genius is to me. Gadd's drumming bores me after awhile and I suspect Vinnie would too. I can listen to Weckl all day.

I have listened to Gadd a lot. He is very good. I've also listened to the other two and my conclusion remains. Although Vinnie and Gadd are good, Weckl is an under-rated genius. Anyone who plays drums and I suspect all of us here do, knows how difficult it is to be original and creative all the time. To me a solo is your soul coming out of you. So how Gadd could have his drums there sounding that bad puzzles me.
