Bandmates Pete Ham and Tom Evans wrote the Harry Nielson's smash hit "Without You." Their song writing won awards, itself, and add the performing abilities of songs they wrote for their own records, as well as "Come & Get It (McCartney composed)," and it's clear, these guys were about as good as it gets. I think they're slightly underated, compared to many in their day. Struggles and legal snags followed them, throughout their lives, on the business side of things. What a great band!

OH hell yeah! Pete Hamm is also an underrated guitar player! What a shame! They could have been huge, bloody bloodsucking management pricks!

Just think of what these guys could have done. Heartbreaking that they left us so young.

Ahhh... The Midnight Special. To a small town boy from Western Kentucky that show was a Godsend. I loved this band's music as well. They owned the airwaves around my house for a couple of years, back in the day. Rest easy, Pete. In the words of another tune-smith "this world was not meant for one so beautiful as you".

First time seeing this "live" and I almost like it better than on the radio. At last, I get the lyrics! LOL Sweet.
