Is it the follower that defines the religion? If that is so, which follower knows absolute truth? Is it the Theravada, or Mahayana buddhist? The shi'a or sunni muslim? Or is it one of the many various christian forms of worship? Perhaps Judaism or hinduism contains truth. Even atheists have a distinguished belief system on mortality and which reflects that of ethics. Are they not all capable of good and evil? ignorance and understanding? Why is it then, that you have chosen only one as truth?

Well in Christianity Jesus was and is The angel of the LORD (old testament), so he existed as he all things were created through him, lets go back about 1,000 bc time of king solomon who states, "This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes." I than look at the Genesis and observe the actions of Adam and Eve, they were perfect in every way, one thing they did not know was God's wrath, which gave them the final realization of their ignorance.

Im not sure whats selfish, committing suicide to attain virgins, or strive in containing wisdom which later develops the birth of compassion as selfishness is its polar opposite. It was very ignorant of you to present an iconoclastic statement without first untangling your ignorance. I'm not a Buddhist.
